Like many students, I am required to use Google Slides for presentations. Worst Google App I've Encountered So Far. Thank you for reading my little rating, I hope it helps you. anyways this rating was mostly complains but the app isn’t all that bad, of course like everything, it has it’s ups and downs, but it really is a great way to write and do things like homework and etc, with online school right around the corner im sure it will be useful. they will be fixed, but it just doesn't seem that way really, all the updates say bugs fixed and improvements and it really just seems like a throw off, I keep getting suggestions and auto correct from slides that are wrong and are up to me to fix, my pictures really don't seem to feel like uploading themselves and these problems have really been bugging me and i’m sure many other people can agree with this claim. Well I’ve always enjoyed writing little books and things like that, but you see the problem with google slides is, well this is kind of hard to say but it doesn't represent something you would use as to write or draw due to bugs and things like that, im sure with all these little new updates etc. Photos: This is used to access photos under the control of Photos application to let the users pick images to insert into slides. Microphone: This is used to transmit audio in video calls. * Working across PCs, Macs, mobiles, and tablets-View or even present your slides from your phone or tablet, so you have the option to practice your presentation up until the last minute.Ĭamera: This is used for camera mode in video calls and to insert images taken with the camera. You can enhance your presentations with videos, images, drawings, and smooth transitions. * Starting from scratch or expediting the process by choosing a template. You control who gets permission to edit, view, or just add comments. * Collaborating on a single presentation online with your business partner, your whole team, or external contacts. Google Workspace subscribers have access to additional Google Slides features, including: Google Slides is part of Google Workspace: where teams of any size can chat, create, and collaborate. * Present slides to video calls - scheduled meetings will automatically appear * Never worry about losing your work - everything is automatically saved as you type * Add and rearrange slides, format text and shapes, and more * Share presentations and collaborate with others in the same presentation at the same time * Create new presentations or edit existing ones Very simple yet pretty powerful, a few imperfections maybe but a huge recommend for me so far.Create, edit, and collaborate on presentations with the Google Slides app. Only weird thing is that I can't delete a folder in this tool (but it can delete files). The layout can be customized freely and saved, there is a GPS view showing a (Google ?) map and the spots where the photos were taken, along the typical EXIF info etc. I also tried the rename tool to rename a group of files using a template (don't need the custom batch convert tool for that, there is a rename tool already). There is a very customizable batch tool that is able to apply a set of modifiers to a group of photos, various actions can be added, I only tried my own custom setting to "resize to fit into 1920x1920 into a subfolder called small" for now. Enough for someone like my gf that barely does any editing usually. There are also basic photo editing tools, exposure, gamma, rotate and many others. It also can switch easily photos into fullscreen view (I use the center button of the mouse for that) and then you can browse photos using mouse wheel or l/r arrow keys. No need to import photos into a library, we can use directly our photo folders which is HUGE for me. It supports many languages, and above all it's FREE (for personal use). I am an amateur photographer used to ACDSee but the Mac version is horrible so I decided to look for something similar for Mac and this is the best software I found for that. I am a windows user but it's for my gf who uses a Mac. TokyoQuaSaR's Experience I have used this tool for only 2 hours.
